This Ipad drawing formed the basis of my 3d sculpture ‘Illuminated Hand’. Most of my other 3d work is generated from digital 2d drawings.
Whilst I currently prefer working with digital ‘paper edition’ tablets. The iPad phase yielded some interesting results.

Drawing and life drawing forms a crucial part of my Art practise. Studying the cross hatched lines of Artists such as Michelangelo and Raphael allows me to then utilise this form of drawing language in more abstract and deconstructive ways.

I am also interested in the process of continually looking and re-evaluating that can carry on ad infinitum and the way this can be documented within the drawing itself.
