Enjoyed working on this project I named ‘Performative Masculinity’ combining hand drawing with animated multimedia projections for the Works on Paper exhibition at RK Burt back in early July.

Enjoying what I think of as the visual art equivalent of solo transcription (as a practising jazz musician a large part of my development involves transcribing solos from my favourite jazz musicians and internalising some of my favourite bits and utilising them in my solo's and musical language development).
I love the intricate cross hatched drawings of artists like Raphael and Michealangelo and have become obsessed with utilising this kind of drawing language in more abstract ways.
